Positive: Everything. The property is a 10 minute drive from Alba on a vineyard with stunning views in all directions. You are surrounded by vineyards, with the villages of Barbaresco and Nieve short drive away. The host Sergio and his family work the vineyard all year and have an in depth knowledge of local wines and producers which they are willing to share with those who are interested. The wines made from his grapes are exquisite. The apartment is comfortable with all the amenities for a short stay. Of particular note is the large size of the rooms. There is a large bathroom with plenty of hot water. There is free parking on the premises. The host’s daughter, Priscilla, was extremely responsive, easy to contact by phone or text and spoke good English as well as Italian. She came by on several occasions to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They also have excellent advice for places to eat in the area if you don’t feel like eating in, as well as advice on trails to walk the vineyards. I would highly recommend you to stay here.
