Between the hills around Pisa is Rivalto, a small town in the municipality of Chianni, where this cosy holiday home is for rent. You can easily reach numerous famous Tuscan cities from the quiet agriturismo, or also simply enjoy a day by the sea. The small completely detached stone house dates from the early 19th Century and stands on a hill in the small quiet medieval village of Rivalto (93 inhabitants).

If you follow a picturesque road on the opposite side of the hill for about 35km, you will reach the sea with the villages of Castiglioncello, Vada and Rosignano (province of Livorno). There are many historic monuments and Roman churches to visit. The village is charming with its surrounding hilly landscape, and is also famous for its culinary gastronomic tradition. The dishes with wild boar, the "king of the macchia", are particularly recommended.
